Medical Imaging Data | AI & Tech Markets
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth within the AI and technology sectors. This individual will drive strategic partnerships and enterprise sales with AI healthcare companies as well as major technology companies.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on complex, consultative sales of medical imaging datasets for AI training, validation, and foundation model development.
The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise seller with deep experience in healthcare AI, medical imaging, or health data sales, and a strong network across AI product, research, and data teams.
• Own and exceed annual revenue targets within AI and Big Tech accounts
• Develop and execute a focused go-to-market strategy for AI andfoundation model buyers
• Identify and close multi-year data licensing and strategic partnership agreements
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and opportunity development through contract negotiation and successful deal close
• Proactively hunt for new logo acquisition while supporting strategic expansion and relationship growth within key existing enterprise accounts
• Structure creative commercial models (enterprise licenses, cohort-based pricing, data subscriptions, strategic partnerships)
• Maintain accurate pipeline documentation, deal stages, account plans, and forecasting within Salesforce
• Build executive-level relationships across AI research, data science,and product leadership
• Expand existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and long-termpartnership expansion
• Represent the company at industry events, AI conferences, and customer meetings
• Partner with the Clinical, Data Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to structure compliant and scalable data solutions
• Translate customer AI model development needs into structured data solutions
• Provide reliable revenue forecasting and board-ready pipeline reporting
• 5+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience
• Proven success selling into AI healthcare companies and/or Big Tech
• Experience selling medical imaging data, healthcare data, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to close 6-figure deals
• Working understanding of AI/ML development lifecycle, training/validation data requirements, and model evaluation workflows
• Executive presence and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Background in radiology, medical imaging, or healthcare AI
• Experience selling data for foundation models or large-scale AI training initiatives
• Familiarity with regulatory and privacy considerations (HIPAA, de-identification, data governance)
• Established network within AI healthcare startups and technology research teams
